This booklet presents CONNECT’s open-ended scenarios, an innovative experiment that adapts participatory methods to open schooling. This approach invigorates students’ interest in science by engaging them from a societal and action-oriented perspective.
It enables students to explore science within the context of their surrounding community, emphasizing real and locally relevant challenges. These challenges are identified either by the students themselves or by local actors in their community, fostering a deeper, more meaningful understanding of scientific concepts and their practical applications.
